General Membership.
In August 2023, STATIC introduced a new branch of the club encompassing individuals who wish to attend our events, socials and have free access to all resources shared throughout our educational and research based talks. The General Members are a part of STATIC but do not write for our review. STATIC General Members are invited to attend all collaboration, inter-club, external events and socials.
Last year, we hosted a plethora of events ranging from LinkedIn profile builder workshops, to scientific research skills training, innovation in engineering and exploring how technology has had an impact on sustainable enterprises, businesses and the healthcare system. As a General member, you will be exempt from all charges that may incur prior to these events and STATIC socials, as well as the resources shared at our educational and skill building events. The club socials are held at various venues around town and are a great way to network with passionate and driven individuals who share the same dedication to their subject and desire to expand their professional network. There is a £5 joining fee for free access to all events, resources and socials throughout the 2025-2026 academic year.
